The amount of money that you will make varies depending on how often you write, how many readers read your articles. There’s also support groups to where you can network to gain more readers. I’ve made as little as $22 only wrote one article during the month as I took time off of all my online endeavours. See, you earn residual income. So for instance, if you were to read an article today that I wrote two years ago, I would still get paid as long as I’m still an active examiner. I know of people who earn thousands each month working full-time. There are people who write for them as a living. I also write my own blog and do other freelance work. I only work pt for examiner less actually. but am thinking of doing it full-time. The company also has editorial calendars and emails to share ways to make more money or to have ideas to write even more articles. It does take a little time to grow the readership. However there’s also an incentive to write at least 5 articles a week bu offering an extra $1 per article. so you can make with one article at least a minimum of $20 for 20 articles for a four-week month. That’s if no one reads it. Now if an article goes viral the page views really go up and you can make a good deal of money

Bad Dream Loss and Faith

I am going to share some things that I need to get off of my chest. We have experienced so much loss in the past year and half that it is ridiculous. I have been having nightmares for two days about my Dad.

The first, I awoke crying, hyperventilating with trouble catching my breath from being so upset. I dreamed that I was in a hospital room with my dad, arguing with a nurse and that my Dad passed. I awoke only to be relieved that it was dream, seconds later, realization hit that my Dad is gone. Although fortunately, he passed home with my mom by his side.

Second dream, I received a call from a lady informing me that Dad was an organ donor and that I should donate . I belive in donating but I dreaming that I was being forced. I am sure that this in a continuation of the first dream with reflect on a real phone call that took place when my husband  unexpectedly passed in 2004. I did receive phone calls for organ donation. I had already been informed that, Stewart, he could not donate due to oxygen deprivation in the organs. However, to my surprise, the things that were asked for, although would help science, Was in my state, a horrid request. To be explicit, I was asked to donate and allow disassembling of body parts that was beyond my belief. I have only told a few close people the things that were said to me. I believe in Organ Donation and I am a Donor! However, the request were shocking. I can understand some of the request . I will not share what was asked because I find it upsetting. I know science and medicine can only continue to improve with the research necessary to bring new and better options for care. I guess I was just stunned and years ago, I relieved that phone call over and over. I had to remain strong for my young child and only now can I even express in words my pain.( Wow, that last few sentences even surprised me as I am just unconsciously brainstorming). Thank-you for “listening”.

Anyway, I have been having a few bad dreams and I contribute it to the viewing of a movie several evening ago. We watched the movie, extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. It was a real heartbreaking and tragic story. I did not realize that it was this movie when my family rented it. I never had planned to see this movie as I am so sensitive to the loss of life and the tragic of September 11th.

The movie was actually a good movie but I burst into tears on more than one occasion. It was one of those movies where after viewing i, I just had to let go and cry. My crying went from the movie to the stir of emotions within me. I cried and cried. The bad dreams began the same night.

I do have faith in my God. I know that my Dad had been suffering for a long time. terminal illness was tragic and horrible. I am happy that God released him from his pain. I know that he is in heaven rejoicing, reunited with his mother that preceded his death by only 22 hours, reunited with his wonderful Grandfather, Max, his hero, Reunited with his very heart and soul with his three-year old daughter, Laura, taken from him at only 3 years old, reunited with God with Heaven without any more worries or pain. resealed from a terrible serious of illness that overtook his once strong body, protecting and looking upon his grandchildren and wife that he so loved. May Gold bless him! I love you and miss you Dad with all of my heart.

Mom and Dad (Me n God-Daughter, Dawn)

Once day I will share just how special of a Man my Dad was. He was wonderful. None could have asked for a better grandfather. He was a gret man full of love. The funny thing, he was my step-father. Even I would not have believed it if I didn’t know it was true. The first 14 years of my life, I was without him. I know that part of God’s plan for him was to be our Dad. Never once did he ever treat us like we were not biologically his. The Best Dad ever!

My faith remains thought the pain of losing my DAD. I am happy that he is free of his pain. Thank-you God for bringing him into my life and changing it.

Kitchen and Bath Remodel Delray Beach

I have been researching making a few renovations in my home. I have made some repairs in the main bath including repairing a hole in the floor, adding a tile floor and new baseboards. The room is more visually appealing minus the faults that have been repaired over our Easter/ Spring break. The small hole in the floor has been fixed, the linoleum has been pulled up and tile has been laid. I am so happy that the major flaws have been repaired.

However, the bathroom needs a face lift. The space needs to be brighter. I would also like to update the cabinet, sink and add additional storage space for linens. The room is big but the original design does not make the best use of the space. There is a lot of space that is wasted. I have visions of Storage and organization!

I love the storage space in this bath! I especially like the towel cubbies. So cute!

Adorable Towel Cubbies!

While upon my search for ideas and someone to complete the remodel, I discovered a lovely gallery,(bath and kitchen remodel Delray Beach, the gallery included a funny remodel project that you must see, Lol.) of completed bath and kitchen remodelling projects. The city of Delray Beach has a wonderful asset in this bath and kitchen remodeling company. I hope that I can find someone in my area with the skills and a portfolio similar to the gallery of bath and kitchen remodels in the city of Delray Beach.

The gallery has given me a few ideas for my bath remodel.  As you are probably aware, the kitchen and the bathrooms are the most popular choices for home remodeling. These two rooms can make or break a home sale, create the visual cleanliness of a home and even how you feel about your family spaces. For instance, Last month, we updated our kitchen stove. We traded out an old black gas stove for a white flat surface electric stove. The kitchen looks newer and cleaner. I love the difference that brightening the area and updating the appliance has made in our kitchen. It looks newer. I think that the kitchen tends to be the hub of the home and the bath is a place that needs to both be clean and pleasing to the eye. I want my bathroom to look appealing, clean (and be clean) and also provide a feeling of serenity. I love to take long bubble baths and I would like my color palette, organization and space to have the ability to provide me with a feeling of relaxation and a sense of pampering!

Wish me luck as I look for storage options and a Michigan company to consult with for my bathroom remodel. I hope to find someone soon. I would like to remodel the bathroom while the children are out of school for the summer. Between a family vacation, summer camp and a lenient morning schedule, It will give us time to have the work completed while we can adjust our schedules to temporarily having only a one bath home.

Building a Bat Box

Our plan for a little Homesteading project for the garden is a handmade bat box constructed from upcycled and recycled materials around the house!

Bats are an extremely important to the environment. I read on several websites that one bat can consume anywhere between 1000-1200 mosquitoes per hour. I find that to be impressive. We have had a “mild” winter according to local meteorologist. Therefore, we are expecting an increase in the insect population!

Last summer, I remember seeing hoards of insects grouping and swarming as they flew through the air. I was worried about the possibilities of the children having allergic reactions to insect bites and random worries such as malaria contamination due to the overpopulated mosquito population. Hmm, Overpopulated population, sounds a bit funny and an improper use of grammar!

Anyway, I have decided to use some of the wood that we have in the garage, shed and from a recent home repair project to build a bat house. I learned that there are many positive reasons to build a bat house and many templates to learn to do so.

So, here is the beginning of out Bat house in pictures:

Apallet and woo and tools in green spring grass

Preparation

Photo 1 is the items that I first gathered to create my bat box. The Pallet and garbage bag were added to the work pile in order to begin my palette garden project.

Little Helper hammering the nails!

A half made bat box in wood

Half complete Bat Box

As you can see, m y helper had to take a break to take a bite of a few yellow Easter Peeps!

So, I used two sizes of nails, left over wood for frugal living and to upcycle/recycle building materials, an old knee high made of nylon to cover the interior base board for the bats to have the ability to have traction when inside of the bat box, tools of course and lots of time.

Also, my time was not used to the best of my ability as my wee little helper had to be supervised for safety reasons, two smashed mommy fingers and we were working hard…Not working smart, lol. As it turns out, the addition of a hand held saw and perhaps a drill would have made it easier to make the bat bx.

I am going to add these tools to work on the bat box tomorrow. I have decided not to take apart the imperfections as to keep the character of the bat box, appreciate the help of my assistant and it is a learning process as I have never seen a bat box in person or have ever tried to build one. So this is our project half completed!

Tomorrow , will bring about the addition of a roof, side walls and perhaps caulking and eventually weatherproofing!

I hope that you enjoyed seeing our little bat house homesteading project!
